"How's it going? This is Brandon Pearce with Foolish Pride Tattoo Company in St. Petersburg, Florida and I want to talk to you a little bit about how to use the tattoo machine. One of the most important things again it is a machine. It is not a tattoo gun. A lot of people refer to it as a gun. Guns are actually used to hurt people. Tattoo machines are used to actually put art on skin. Other than that make sure you go through a proper apprenticeship before you use a machine. Don't just pick one up and decide you can tattoo. You can really injure people, damage their skin. You can also make people very sick because you haven't learned the proper cross contamination procedures could be. Go to a proper shop, learn from a licensed tattoo artist. It might cost you a little bit of money. A typical apprenticeship costs anywhere from $1,000 to $2,000 and possibly up depending on the artist you are learning from but again go to an artist and learn how to tattoo, learn how to use a machine. Anyone that calls it a tattoo gun, don't get an apprenticeship from them. They're a scratcher, they're not going to know what they are doing. Again this is Brandon Pearce with Foolish Pride Tattoo Company in St. Petersburg, Florida. Thank you very much."
