"Hey it's Rokosz, your digital lifestyle expert here and discussing where to buy MacIntosh laptops, whether it be the Macbook Pro, the Macbook, the Macbook Air or the new version of one of those computers, one of the best places to very first consider is the Mac store. If you have got an Apple store near you it is a great place to go. You are going to find some good people there and the Mac geniuses will be able to answer all of your questions and if you are changing over from a Windows environment they'll be able to calm your fears and show you that it will be a silky smooth transition. Now also Best Buys have got, most of them have put an Apple section inside of them. What you are going to find though is that the prices for these things are pretty much the same no matter where you go. If you find some online retailers that have a bit of a savings that is somewhere to consider but if the savings is too great you are not going to believe this but if the savings is too great be extremely leery about it because they have said it and even to their wholesale distributor there is not much of a profit margin on hardware, there never has been, it's accessories and software where people and peripherals where these companies really make their money. So if you are seeing it 2 or $300 less than list price or that you can buy it on apple.com be very leery unless it is a specific sale mentioning Apples or a very recognizable source like Best Buy. So check your local sources. There are some good ones on line but definitely make sure that they are extremely reputable before you do it.
