"It's Rokosz, your digital lifestyle expert here and we're discussing how much are Mac laptops. Well, let me tell you. We'll start over here with the MacBook, the MacBook single most popular Macintosh ever made, great guy. Actually, a newly redesigned for late 2008, early 2009 but you can still get in to the white one here, the newer ones are going to be the solid aluminum, uni-frame, may either milling it from one piece of solid-built aluminum. The, but the regular MacBook you can get involve with is as little as 999, basically, with the exceptions of refurbished units to get into a mobile Mac, you're looking at about a 1,000 dollars base, and then, it goes up from there. You can spend between a 1,000 or 1,500 dollars on you MacBook. Your MacBook Pro starts out, well, roughly twice that, starts out at 1,999 or 2 grand and with options, up, up, up, you can tuck on as many as 7, 8, 900 dollars on top of that with options and accessories. The different type of computing, this ones a very very powerful unit, also went through a redesign in late '08 early '09. Now, their new little brother to the family or little sister, depending on your looking at it, is this, the MacBook Air. Its biggest deal is, well, how thin it is. Extremely portable notebook if you will style computer. This is mine, I use it constantly, but it will set you back about 1,799 to start with, and its bigger brother if you will, not thicker but it's solid state hard drive, you're going to tuck on another 20 or not another, but you'll be topping out about 2,499 for that unit. But if you want a computer that's going to be by your side all the time, and take the abuse, the MacBook Air with the solid state hard drive is what you're looking for. So, to recap, minus refurbished units where you can find a deal, about a 1,000 dollars to 1,500 dollars to get into a MacBook. About 2,000 dollars to 2,500 dollars to get into a MacBook Pro, and anywhere from 1,800 dollars to 2,500 dollars to get involved with the MacBook Air. So, if that's in your budget, I seriously encourage you to consider purchasing one, it'll change your life if you're not already a Mac guy. I'm Rokosz, your digital lifestyle expert saying, have Mac, we'll travel."
