"Hi I'm Merrilee and today I'm going to talk to you a little bit about snow cone machines. I can't think of a better way to bring a smile to your kid's faces during the Summer time than to pop out a snow cone machine and a long line of flavors and give them a chance to actually set up a snow cone stand as opposed to a lemonade stand. In our neighborhood my children had fun doing that when they were younger. This little model right here is the old fashioned carnival snow cone machine and retails for about $39.95. The most economical I've seen is about $32.00 and the most expensive about $950.00. Of course that is the granddaddy of them all and ones that you will probably find on your commercial vendors. This little snow cone machine is really efficient and the slit up here has the ice shaver here at the top and just pop in a little bit of ice there, twist the handle. It stops automatically when you twist the top of the lid back off and you have your really nice shaved ice here so what I would recommend is you do a little research because you can find some that are a little smaller that do the same thing or if your blender has an ice shaver option on it then of course you can use that too without going to the expense of purchasing a snow cone machine but that's just a little bit about snow cone machines."
