"Hi, my name is David Anderson and I'm about to show you the golfer, the best way to warm up before you play golf. It's very important that you do warm your muscles up before you go out and play 18-holes. If you don't, you run the risk of a muscle strain or a muscle pull or a muscle tear because your muscles have not been properly warmed up. So, some of the things I like to do when I first get to the golf course; before I hit some range balls in fact, is I will take out a golf club and start pulling on it, one way or the other just pull against your hands; ups outward; raise the club over your head, stretch as far back as you can; try a little bending to the side, each side not just the muscles; let them know that you're out here for, to do some work. You stretch like that; you can even go below the waist; that stretches the muscles in your back. It's very important to get the muscles warmed up. Again, you don't want to face any injury that might keep you off the golf course; the game we love. Something else I like to do before I play is, I will take two clubs; much like baseball batters do when they're in a, on deck circle; it might take two golf clubs and start slowly swinging the clubs around; with one hand that's long enough up to shoulders in the back on this side. Then you can also use the other hand but you're slowly imitating the swing that you've been developing all these years, that just warms up muscles, let them know; we've done this before, we play golf, this is proper and you start slowly swinging. Do this maybe for about three or four, five minutes. You probably need to determine that yourself. But just take some light swings; once again, one handed; you can go two handed. But there's also the swinging motion and that's very important for warming up all those muscles in your body. One other thing I like to do before I like to play is that I will find something that's solid; that is above the ground that I can put my foot on. I'm going to use the bottom of my golf bag for this; but, you'll take your right foot and you bend a little bit; so get a little bend in the knee. Then you take your arm; left arm and go back the opposite way from your right leg and stretch back here; stretch all through here; stretch it down the side. You do that for about thirty seconds and then you switch. Take your left foot and your right arm and you stretch like this for about thirty seconds; just keep pulling on a little bit. Don't overdo it, you may injure yourself. Some of my warm up techniques for golf."
