"Where to find good airline fares. A good place to start is your local travel agent. They will always work on your behalf to find you the best possible fares and the best possible schedules for what you're looking to do. If you don't have a travel agent and you prefer to work on-line yourself, there are certain websites that are helpful such as orbitz.com, kayak.com. You can even sign up for e-mail alerts, plug in your travel requests and they will e-mail you when certain travel specials relating to your travel needs come about. A great place to find international fares is again, going through your travel agent. They have specific air consolidators that they go through that can save you a lot of money. These air consolidators pass their savings on to travel agents, in turn, pass those savings on to you. They can sometimes save you hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars. They can do multi countries, open jaw tickets, and in most cases, save you quite a bit of money from the airline's published fares."
