"Hi, my name's Brian. I will show you how to install a laptop hard drive. There are two kinds of laptop hard drives. One is a ATA connection with the pins. The newer kind is the SATA connection. First off, you got to open up your hard drive bay. This is your hard drive bay. You've got about the same size as your laptop hard drive. Okay, I'm just going to go ahead and undo these screws. Okay, there's two more screws holding in the laptop hard drive... we'll do those. Okay, and at this point you can just slide it out and it pops right out like so. This is what's called a hard drive caddy. Okay, it keeps the hard drive in place so that if it drops, it's not shaken all around in your laptop. Basically, you have to undo the screws on your caddy. Okay, now you can take the caddy off of the hard drive like so. Alright, now to put the new hard drive in, take the next one, bump it in, make sure the holes line up with the holes in the hard drive... screw them all back in. Okay, now we're going to put it back in the laptop. Slide it in. You got to get those two screws. Pop the plate on. Screw it down. And that is how you install a laptop hard drive."
