"Now we are going to learn how to draw people in Photoshop. I am just going to assume we are going to try to draw someone from a photo rather than to try to draw someone from scratch although you can use the same technique either one really. The main tool we are going to be using for this is a pen tool so I am going to select that and I am going to select draw the path only so it is not going to fill it in with color as we go along. So I have got our friend here that we have used a couple of times an we are going to try to trace his face. I have zoomed in a bit using the command and plus sign or the control and plus sign if you are on a pc and now what we are going to do is just trace around his head and I am going to do this rather quickly. Now obviously you want to take your time if you are trying to spend a lot of time trying to draw someone to get it looking as nice as you can. Come out here and obviously drawing a person can be quite a lengthy process so I am just rushing this through right now. Of course with a pen tool you can hold it down and drag and create little curves or you can just go with straight lines it is up to you. So there we go you have got the basic outline of his face now. Now let's hold the control down and click on that and switch and I am going to fill that with an sample of the face for the color and get that fleshy look and fill that in. Now I want to drop the epasy on this so I can still see his face. Basically we want to just go around and do the same thing again on all of his features, there we go with another one. Fill that in with white and start another layer of his eyebrows and do the same for his eyes. Obviously his eyes you have got to, you know I am just rushing it through for you guys, take your time, wrong one. That one didn't link up, there we go. There we go. Start another layer. Let's try to speed it up a little bit using shapes now, brown eyes, get the brown color and as you can see we are starting and just keep doing that, draw around his nose and his mouth and before you know it you will have your own person drawn out of whatever you like whether it is a photo or a cartoon, just keep at it guys and keep practicing it does take a while to get used to it but that is basically how we draw someone in Photoshop."
