"I am going to show you a very simple way to do a lighting effect in Photoshop on some texts. So I'm just going to start a new document and do it with black and get the text out and let's do red or something for our text. Get the text tool and type out lighting and make it a little bit bigger. So we have got our text there and now what we want to try to do is make it look like some light is hitting it from this angle so we go to grading overlay and bring the angle down like that, there you go put it around 45 degrees, drop that in like that and now we are going to bring the apostrophe down so we can get our text back and let's give it a grainy gone cross and make it a little more dramatic. Now we want to make it look like it is a 3 D effect so we will put an emboss on it and we want to make sure the angle is 45, negative 45 degree angle and then bring the depth down a little bit to the side so there you can see it looks like the bevel has got the light hitting it as well kind of hitting it from that direction to give you a nice kind of lighting effect. If you want to add more let's flatten the image and we can always go to filter, go to render and lighting effects. We have a whole bunch more things we can do by playing around with the lighting effects filter. You can do multiple effects on one text you can. There is a whole bunch of different things you can do. Go to presets on here and that is pretty cool. Here is like a blue kind of spotlight hitting it. There is a whole bunch of stuff so play with it and I will show you some interesting things. That is how we create lighting effects in Photoshop."
