"Now we are going to learn how to create a sparkle effect in Photoshop. Let's start a new document. Let's make it a web document and fill it with black. Now there is plenty of ways to do this as well so kind of use your own creativity. I am just going to make a real kind of basic one. I have got the polygonal lasso tool and just go ahead and draw like half triangle and I am going to fill that in with white and start a new layer and fill that with white and now I am going to gip coat that layer and spin it on a flip horizontal and I am going to match it up so I have a nice even triangle. Now let's merge and I am going to duplicate it again and go to edit, transform, flip verticals and drop that down, match it at the bottom and merge those two together and duplicate that one more time, spin it, transform, rotate 90 degrees clockwise and you should have a nice looking star so I might even transfer the middle part, hold down shift so it doesn't walk, have you move it in and get that end like that. Now I'm going to hold shift down and click on the other layer and merge those layers together. Let's go to gloss and blur, actually forget that let's duplicate that layer one more time and now we'll go to gloss and blur and let's knock it out a bit like that. Let's select both those layers and hold down shift again and merge the layers one more time and go to edit and transform it, shrink it down and let's say we have some texting here and we go to transform and get that big and now we want this text kind of have a glow to it so let's duplicate that layer again with your gloss and blur and now the original one can drop down and let's shrink it a little bit more. Now we want to duplicate it a couple more times and try and get it and blur them up a bit more and eventually just play with it until you like what you see. If you want to add some yellow into it or whatever you can do that. So that is a very simple way to do a sparkle in Photoshop."
