"My name is Marc Owens, and I'm the Customer Experience Manger here at the Best Buy in Pleasant Hill. One of the questions that we're getting asked more often these days is how do I connect my DVD player through a VCR to my television set. The first thing that you are going to want to do is locate your RCA cables. You'll notice these cables because they have a yellow, red, and white end. You're going to then take that RCA cable and hook it to the output on your DVD players. You're going to want to match yellow to yellow, white to white, and red to red. After you've taken this step you're going to then want to take the other end of your cable and hook it to the back of your VCR via the input. You're going to want to be careful on the back of most VCRs, there are input and output plugs, so you're going to want to locate the plug that says input. And then match those same ends, yellow to yellow, white to white, and red to red. After you've taken these few simple steps you're almost there. You have several options in terms of hooking your VCR to the back of your television set. The back of most VCRs have coaxial cable, and you can run a coaxial cable from this port to the back of your television if it has coaxial. If you find that your television set does not have a coaxial input, you're going to want to look for the RCA output on the back of your VCR. And you will do just the same thing, match the yellow to the yellow, the white to the white, and the red to the red. And then find the input on the back of the TV and plug the cables in. Once you've powered your TV on it's just a simple matter of selecting the input that the VCR is plugged into."
