"My name is Marc Owens, and I'm a Customer Experience Manger here at Best Buy Pleasant Hill. One of the more common questions we're hearing now a days is how I make copies of my VHS home movies. Well to answer that question, the device you are looking for is a DVD recorder. You're going to find several options when it comes to DVD recorders. But the one that you're going to be looking for has a VHS slot and a DVD slot. Previously several people used two VHS players to accomplish this same task, but with the simplicity of a new DVD recorder most of them have one touch functions that will allow you to just place the VHS tape into this slot, place a blank DVD into this slot, and hit the one touch record button. On this particular model, the first thing that you are going to want to do is turn the power on. After you turn the power on, you are going to want to take a VHS home movie and insert it into this slot. Then you want to find a blank DVD, and then insert it into this slot. Once you've put your source media in, and your destination media in it's as simple as touching the one touch record button. Now you've made a copy of your VHS home movie, and those memories will last a lot longer now that you've captured them on to DVD."
