It's usually at the neck of the neck and behind the ears is where these live, crawling little creatures get on your head and behind the... especially behind the ears. It may appear like dandruff on your hair shaft, but it has to be treated because it is highly contagious. You normally see it in school children during the fall, winter and even the spring months. They'll come home with that and it's going to take a whole lot of cleaning to get it done and the child has to be treated as well as the whole family.
