"Symptoms of head lice. There are moving type of feeling within... on your scalp. It could be irritable. Usually it comes with itching. These are more small red bumps also that accompany the itching. It's usually at the neck of the neck and behind the ears is where these live, crawling little creatures get on your head and behind the... especially behind the ears. It may appear like dandruff on your hair shaft, but it has to be treated because it is highly contagious. You normally see it in school children during the fall, winter and even the spring months. They'll come home with that and it's going to take a whole lot of cleaning to get it done and the child has to be treated as well as the whole family. But the symptoms is just usually itching and scratching and little red bumps, but you can look at the hair shaft itself and it looks silvery or white in nature on the hair."
