It usually causes chronic inflammation of the digestive tract. It's very painful. It also presents with diarrhea. It usually affects the intestine, the large intestine because that's really where the stool is stored and then it also affects the rectum. The symptoms could vary but usually you will see the severity of the disorder according to the location of where it's located. You'll see weight loss, bloody diarrhea, cramps, pain and normally there will be a presentation of nighttime sweats, also there might be rectal pain.
