"Hi I'm Beau Babka and we are coming to you from the Cottonwood Heights Police Department in Utah and the question is are jobs in law enforcement or policing growing? During this economic down turn there are jobs, this is one field that we see a lot of upswing as far as jobs go. Crime does not diminish during these times in our economy or during, in some of our populations and so we see that a lot of jobs are growing in local law enforcement, in state law enforcement and also in federal law enforcement especially since 911. There is a lot of issues with terrorism, domestic terrorism, international terrorism so there are growing jobs at the federal level but there are also growing jobs at the state and the local levels especially and we have seen a big upswing in crime scene, civilian positions as well, not only investigative positions but street level positions and all throughout our profession we are seeing growth right now because of some of the things that are again going on with our economy and our populations and our, especially our juvenile populations."
