"Hi we are here to talk about how to change your deduction or change your return to change your child tax deduction. Yeah, yeah I do. Hi we are here to talk about how to revoke your child tax deduction on your return. If there is a case where you have a divorce situation or another situation where three different people may or may not need to claim a child, obviously you cannot both claim the child in the same year. If one person were to claim the child and then realize later that it was not their, right to claim the child that year as in many couples will alternate after a year, year after year but if it is not your year to claim it, claim the child then what you would need to do is to file and both parties would have to file an amended return. And as always when you file an amended return make sure you check make sure everything is signed dated and especially that you mail it to the correct address because many times the amended return will go to a different address then your standard return goes too."
