"Hi. My name's Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to show you how to make a personal web page. Let's go to our computer and we're going to use Microsoft Word to do this. Let's say you want to make a web page for your family, showing off pictures from a trip or something like that. It's very easy with Microsoft Word. Let's click your start button. Let's go to Microsoft Office. Open up Word. I'm going to create a heading for my page, basically by putting in some large font text here. It's going to say My Website. I'm going to put some smaller text here. By Dave Andrews. Now what I'm going to do is I'm just going to insert some images here to my personal website. I'm going to go to the insert tab at the top. I'm going to click picture. And here's a couple of pictures that I have that I can insert. I want to go with this one. This is in Hawaii. Right there is the last spot that Amelia Earhart was seen alive. And I'm going to insert another picture. Just by going to insert picture again. And let's go with this picture here. The Arizona Memorial. As you can see, you can do a lot of pictures like this where you're just standing or rather you're doing like a trip page where you've been to visit someplace like Hawaii and you just want to show this off to your family. So I've inserted several pictures here. And I'm just going to go to the office button at the top. And I'm going to click save as. And we're going to click on other formats. Now change the save as type to say web page which is .HTM or .HTML and we're going to call this page, My Web Page. Click save. And that's exporting out to a web page. Let's close out of Word. I'm going to go to the documents where I saved it. And there you'll see there's My Web Page. And there is also My Web Page files, which is a folder up here. You'll need to upload both of these to some sort of server. So I'm going to open up this My Web Page .HTM and as you can see here in my web browser is the picture, the pictures that I just dropped into my Word document. But showing in a web browser form. My name is Dave Andrews and I've just showed you how to create a personal website."
