"Hi, my name's Dave Andrews. Today, I'm going to show you how to wipe your hard drive. Let's go to our computer. And what we're going to use is a program called The Ultimate Boot CD. You just open up your Web browser, and you go to your favorite search engine. I'm going to go to Google. And if you just search for the Ultimate Boot CD, you'll find a link to it somewhere in your search engine. Now, this is a boot CD that has a lot of capabilities built into it, including securely wiping your computer's hard drive. Just go to the Download section, and you'll find one of the places that you can go to download this by selecting an ISO and then burning it to a CD. Now, I've already got that downloaded, and I'm going to boot up the computer here that has the Ultimate Boot CD selected as the CD that it's going to boot from. Let me just choose my Ultimate Boot CD, and I'm going to start the computer here. Now, as the computer is booting, it's going to automatically start that CD. And it's going to tell you, "Press enter to boot the Ultimate Boot CD." I'm just going to press Enter here. And now, I want to choose in the menu for the Ultimate Boot CD, the hard disk tools. And I want to go down to wiping tools. Now, I'm going to use the program Derek's Boot and Nuke because I think it's the easiest to use. And it's going to boot that program and run it. And once Derek's Boot and Nuke comes up, it's going to list out the partitions as well as the disks on your computer. You can either choose a single partition, and I just moved with my down arrow here and I press the space bar to select it. That would remove that first partition. Or you can do the entire drive by selecting the hard disk and clicking wipe or pressing the space bar to select it. Now, I'm also now going to press the F10 key to start the operation. This tells Derek's Boot and Nuke to begin wiping the entire hard disk on your computer. My name is Dave Andrews, and I've just showed you how to wipe your hard drive."
