"Hi, my name is Dave Andrews. Today I am going to show you how to use Miniature Mobile Storage Media. Now what I'm referring to when I talk about that is that I'm talking about one of these. Which is a little compact flash card. There are also different types of these. This is compact flash, there is also SD cards, which are a little smaller than this one, XD cards. But they're all; basically you can look at them as just very small cards that are storage for video cameras, or digital cameras, and files. Now another type of storage that you may be referring to is one of these. And this is basically a thumb drive for a computer. As you can see it is small and has a USB connection on it. Now I can plug this in into a computer and get files off of it. Now for using a compact flash or DX card, you're going to need some type of reader in order to plug that card into your computer to access the files. This is a multimedia card reader. You can buy this at many computer stores. Basically it has all different types of connections for the types of cards you're going to be using. Now I'm going to show you how to use one of these, which is the thumb drive here. Basically what you are going to do with this is you're going to take the USB connection here and you're going to find an open USB port on your computer. There's one on the side. I'm just going to plug it in here onto my computer. Now once you have it plugged in if you can see my screen, it's going to recognize that drive. And it's going to ask you what you would like to do with it. In this case I would like to open the folder to view the files that are on this drive. So I'm going to click on it. And basically there, you can use this just like a C drive or D drive, or any other drive you have on your computer. Or you can create folders, you can create files, you can copy and paste to it. And basically, when you're done using this, you can just pull it out of your computer. The folder that you are currently working on will go away. Or it will change to computer up there at the top. And you can put this in your pocket and take it along with you. It's basically mobile; you can plug it in to other computers and access the files that are stored there. My name is Dave Andrews and I just showed you how to use Mobile Media Files."
