How to Get Rid of Command Adware

"Hi, my name is Dave Andrews. Today, I'm going to show you how to get rid of command adware. Let's go to our computer, and we're going to use a program called Spybot Search & Destroy, and let's click on our Internet Explorer. And we're just going to go to google.com. Now, Spybot...you've heard a lot of programs that say that they'll get rid of spyware on your computer. Spybot is a very effective and efficient program, and it's used by governments and big companies to keep their computers clean of spyware. So I give you my personal guarantee that Spybot Search & Destroy is not spyware itself. So just do a Google search for Spybot, S-P-Y-B-O-T, and then click on the home of Spybot. And we want to click on the English version. And click on the download link at the top, and if you'll scroll down here... Of course, make a donation, that would be good. But if you scroll down here, you can download this free program by clicking one of these download options. You're going to want the first one, which will get you the Spybot 1.62, which is the current version right now. So I've already got that downloaded and installed, so I'm just going to run it. When you run Spybot, it's going to first check your temporary files that are on your computer because it'll slow it down to scan temporary files. You can either click yes or no. I'm actually just going to click no here. But it's loading Spybot here. Now, this is the main window for Spybot Search & Destroy. What we want to do is we want to search for updates because that will scan the Internet for any updates to Spybot. If you get that little continue button, just click continue. I'm going to go with one of the USA mirrors and click continue. Now, there are a lot of updates to my Spybot, as you can see. So with all of those checked, just click download. And that's basically going to run through each of these updates and download them and install them to Spybot. You want to make sure that you have the most up-to-date program as possible. Once Spybot is updated, this is our new main screen. Click on Check for Problems. And then from there, it begins scanning your entire computer's hard drive. As you can see at the bottom, it's running here. And any spyware that it finds, it's going to show as a problem and allow you to remove it.
