"Hi, my name is Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to show you how to find the file on your hard drive. Let's go to our computer and what we're going to do is I'm going to click on the start button; I'm going to click on computer here. In Windows XP it will say my computer. Now I have a file that I want to find that I, I know it's on my hard drive which would be my c drive here. What I'm going to do is I'm going to right click on that c drive; I'm just going to click on search. This brings up the Windows search screen and up here at the top, sort of right hand side; I;m going to type the name of the file which I know to be important file. So this is actually searching my c drive for any files that are named important file. And as you can see, here is importantfile.txt. That's the one that I was looking for and if I scroll over to the side here; I can see that it's in the my files folder on the c drive. To open the folder up that contains that file, I'm going to right click on it; I'm going to click on open the file location. That actually opens up the folder that contains that file and I might have several other files that go along with it that I'm looking for. But that is the file that I was looking for and I can just double click on it to open it. In this case, that important file is empty; but that just for demonstration purposes. My name is Dave Andrews and I've just showed you how to find a file on your computer."
