How to Clean Computer Monitor Glass

"Hi my name is Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to show you how to clean computer monitor and glass. I have here a laptop that has an LCD screen on it and most of the new computer monitors that you're going to be purchasing including all laptops have an LCD screen. Now those are a little more fragile then your older television set screens and your older computer monitors had really thick glass. So when it comes to cleaning those, first thing you need to keep in mind is you don't want to use any kind of glass cleaning products on your LCD computer screen. This can get in there, it can mess with the electronics and it can really, really mess it up. What you do want to use is just a real soft microfiber cloth, I've also heard these referred to as cheese cloth or something similar to that. You can get these at computer stores and office stores. So you just take your soft cloth and you're just going to wipe it really, really carefully on the LCD screen. Now if you start to see little ripples coming out from where you're pushing, then you're pushing too hard. You want to just really, really gently rub it in there. If you get a spot that has got a really spot in it or something, just kind of rub it around, you can take the tip of your finger and apply a little bit of pressure on there but just don't push really, really hard because it's easy to damage these screens. So just work in circles, go around the screen and that is the best way to keep your LCD computer monitor screen clean.
