"Hi my name is Dave Andrews. Today I'm going to show you how to change the font used in Microsoft Word. Let's go to our computer and open up Word by clicking on the Start button, we're going to go to all programs, let's find Microsoft Office and click on Word. Now what I'm going to do here is I'm going to type in some text that will represent the text of our document. I'm just going to copy this, I'm going to paste it a few times that way we can get a good representation of what our new font will look like. So just imagine this is a paragraph in your Word document and we want to change the font that this paragraph uses. The way you do that is just simply highlight it by clicking your mouse down and dragging is over the text that you want to change and then on your home tab in the ribbon, you have here what's listed by default is this Calibri font. You can just use the drop down here and you now have this listing of all kinds of fonts that you can put your text in. I'm going to choose one that's different, I'm going to say this hurry up one, that one looks neat. As you can see our text is now changed to use that different font. It is affected the spacing of the text, that's one thing I need to keep in mind. And you can also do just single sentences, words or even letters, you don't have to do an entire paragraph at once. I'm going to put that last sentence there in an entirely different font and I'm going to highlight this middle part and you can even raise the font's size, it's currently at 11, click the little drop down here and as I move my mouse over it I can find the size that I like. I'm going to click on 26 and now that text has had it's font changed as well as the size of the front. My name is Dave Andrews and I've just showed you how to change the font used in Microsoft Word."
