"Steps in planning a move. When you're moving, it's important to plan out what you're going to do and make sure that you have a time frame for getting into your new place and getting out of the place that you're in. It could be really kind of a tricky thing to do. So, a couple of ideas to do as you're planning your move. First, get a time frame together. When do you need to be out of your house? When do you need to be into your new place? You want to make sure that you leave plenty of time to pack everything up and get all your stuff out of there. That's going to be really important. So, first thing how long is it... the first step is how long it's going to take you to pack everything up and get from point A to point B. Step two, are you going to need somebody to help you with this? Is it something you can do on your own by calling U-Haul, or is it something that you're going to have to have a professional moving company come in and help you with. Step three, your utilities, your electric bill. You want to make sure that everything is transferred over from point A to point B, your phone bill, your utilities, gas or electric, also your cable TV, that kind of thing. You want to make sure that your utilities are transferred over. And the last step really is making sure that you can get into the new place at the time that... well I guess what I'm trying to say is you can coordinate with the landlord of the new place, the people moving out and you moving in. That's something that they should probably handle for you. So that's five, that's the first four or five steps to take when you're planning a move."
