"Hello, my name is Rosario Nene Ortega. I'm a dance instructor at The Goddess Store in Hollywood, Florida. In this clip, I'm going to tell you about the history of the Waltz. There are two kinds of Waltz. The Viennese Waltz and the American Waltz. But the very, the first one is the Viennese Waltz. That was created in the courts of Vienna in Europe. And it is a lovely dance to the music, to the big orchestras. And it's a very open dance. Because it was created when women wore these wonderful dresses, wonderful gowns. And men used their swords on their left hand side. So that's why when we dance the Waltz. It's open and we move counter clockwise in the ball room. So this is the history of the Waltz. For you, Rosario Nene Ortega in Hollywood, Florida."
