Hi. I'm Gabi and I'm going to show you how to distill herbs using oil. So you need three things. You need some vegetable oil, some herbs that are dried or fresh depending on what you like, and a Mason jar with a fitted top. Open up your jar and pour in the herbs and then you want to cover the herbs with the vegetable oil. Then what you want to do is put this in a cool dry place for about two weeks. And here I have a jar that I have already had sitting for about two weeks. And I'm going to show you how to strain it. So I'm going to take a fine mesh stainer and place it over a bowl. And just to make sure that I catch everything, I'm going to line the strainer with a paper towel. And I'm going to very carefully pour my herb and oil mixture and then press it down. And here you have some beautiful freshly distilled free of the oil.
