Video Transcript

"Hi, I'm Gabi and I'm going to show you how to make basil oil. Basil oil is great for a quick pasta dish. Just toss your pasta with a little bit of basil oil and some Parmesan, and you have dinner. So, all you need is a Mason jar, some dried basil, and you can buy this at the store or you can dry it at home. And some flavorless vegetable oil. So you want to open your jar. And you want to put in a lot of basil. And cover it completely with vegetable oil. Give it a good shake. Then you want to let that sit in a cool, dry place for about two weeks to let the basil really infuse the oil. And then use it for pasta, make fresh pesto, whatever you might use oil or basil for you can use basil oil for. And that's how you make basil oil."
