"Hi, I'm Tom and I'm here today at Best Buy to talk to you about computer resolution versus projector resolution. Now this is going to depend on both the computer that you have as well as the projector and then the cable that you're using to transfer the signal. The lowest resolution projection that you can receive is through a VGA cable. This is going to transfer lower resolution images to a low resolution projector. If you'd like to receive higher quality transfers of resolution, you're going to want to look at two other cables. The first one is going to be a DVI cable. A DVI cable will carry high definition video. So you, if you have this output ability on your computer, you're going to want to use a DVI over a VGA. If you don't have DVI, you can also see if you have the other cable. That's going to be HTMI. An HTMI is going to be the highest resolution transfer that you can receive. If you do have HTMI on your computer and on your projector, you will want to use this cable and adjust the resolution settings on your computer to the maximum potential. And that's the difference between computer and projector resolutions."
