"Hi, this is Double Agent Arce with the Geek Squad here to tell you when you might need to replace your mouse. Now, the first thing you want to check before you go out and replace the mouse. Make sure the cable is plugged securely into your computer. As long as the cable's plugged all the way in and you're still having problems, you might also want to check underneath the mouse to see if you have one of the older ball mice and just kind of clean it out. A lot of times, they can get dirt and grime stuck in there. And cleaning that out will definitely improve the performance of the mouse. If you don't want to deal with cleaning your mouse, for example, you can go out and purchase a optical mouse, and an optical mouse will allow you to use the mouse on most surfaces. You don't want to use it on a glossy surface because it doesn't pick up as well, but you can use that new optical mouse. You'll get much better performance, don't have to clean it, and generally work a lot better. If you need help replacing a mouse, you can always give us a call at 800-Geek-Squad if you're in doubt as to whether it works or not in the first place."
