"Hi, this is Double Agent Arce with the Geek Squad here to show you how to connect two computers with a serial cable or possibly even a modern equivalent. Now, if you have a serial port on your computer, it's going to look something like this. Basically, it's two rows of pins. It looks almost like a monitor cable, but it's just a little bit smaller. Now, if you want to connect two computers, you can use a serial cable if both computers support that, but most modern computers don't have a serial port. So what you're going to want to do to transfer files between the two computers, for example, is set up a wireless network or even a wired network if you don't have wireless cards. To do that, you'll need a wireless router, and everything you've got to get started is right in the box. You connect an Ethernet cable to the computer that you need if it's wired. Or if you want to connect it to a wireless computer, you do that through the settings in a router. Now, if you just want to transfer files, there's another way you can do that as well, and that's by connecting a USB hard drive or flash drive, and then transferring the files to the drive, then onto the other computer using that same drive. If you have questions or need help in transferring files from computer to computer, feel free to give us a call at 1-800-Geek-Squad."
