Video Transcript

"Well, the Metropolitan Museum of Art is really the result of the collection of prominent New York citizens who came together, saw a need for a city museum just the same way someone would think of a public library and used their resources and donations and philanthropy to build that museum. It's just extraordinarily expansive. Probably my prejudice is it is just far too much to see in one visit although they do have rotating shows and exhibitions. I was just thoroughly impressed with the scope and range of art that they were able to ensemble and I think you need an organization as huge as the Metropolitan to accomplish something like that."
