"Hi, I'm Lady. Welcome to the Chess Forum. We're located in New York City, in Soho, between Bleeker and West 3rd. We've been in business for thirteen years, and today we're going to talk about a few of our chess sets. In this clip, we'll talk about various Italian chess sets. Here, we have the modern design and it's made out of solid brass. Here, we have the more metallic looking piece which is the darker side. And the Queen here is as you can see gold, painted in gold. The bottom is of each piece is lined by felt in order to reduce scratching or chipping on the board. The pieces are very modern, but at the same time can be used to play a chess game. The price of this set is seven hundred dollars. Here we have the Italiano, and it's made out of onyx. Usually, onyx pieces are very fragile. Anything that's made out of stone is very fragile, especially when you're playing a game when the pieces tend to tip over, and something like this is more is most usually for decoration because the pieces are tend to break easily. And the price of this set is two hundred and fifty dollars. Here, we have Venice versus Genoa, and what's special about this set is that it's made out of bronze. This is top of the line, and definitely a collector's item. Each piece takes about forty days to make, and it's actually a very rare set because these are not mass-produced, in fact. In order to get a set like this you would have to make a special request. And it's made by a family of artisans in Italy that pass their skill from generation to generation. The price of a set like this is nine thousand dollars."
