"Hello my name is Dr. Sian Evans. I'm a scientist at Monkey Jungle in Miami, Florida. In this clip we are going to talk about how to care for a Capuchin Monkey. In many ways Capuchins are relatively easy to care for. In other ways they are extremely challenging. Capuchins eat a wide variety of food items so they can be fed fruits, vegetables, leafy green material and monkey biscuits which are commercially prepared and ideal for monkeys to consume. Capuchin monkeys typically readily accept all these food items however, Capuchins are incredibly smart and that is where the challenge is in taking care of them. They are energetic, curious and always ready to shoot out of a caged door that may not have been secured properly. They have huge advantages in that they can be trained but training is a complex activity that requires a lot of time and skill. This is Dr. Sian Evans."
