One of the things that you're going to need to do before the wedding is find out the ways that you can help the Bride out. One of the biggest things that you have responsibility for though is making sure you have your dress, and getting it on time. The Bride is going to be very stressed about these types of things, so as soon as she gives you a date and a time, make sure that you meet those. Also, you're going to need to help host the Bridal Shower and the Bachelorette party. Talk to the Maid Of Honor and the Bride and figure out exactly the needs, that they're going to need you to do during those times. There is going to be a financial responsibility, so start saving now, make sure you can afford your dress, and make sure you can afford to help host the party and the Bachelorette party, the Bride shouldn't have to pay for anything on her Bachelorette night. Be there for her that day. The Maid Of Honor is going to be taking care of her as much as she can, but if something comes up, make sure that the Bride always has her glass full, she's has something to eat, and that she's where she needs to be. These are some of the duties of a Bridesmaid."
