"Hi I'm Becky Sosa with Stress Free Events and I'd like to talk to you about how to make flower girl baskets. First off you are going to want to find a basket that is appropriate for the wedding that you are going to have. Also consider the size and age of the child. You don't want a basket that is going to be too big for the child to handle. Here we have a country wedding so we have got a simple basket. We have put double sticky sided tape around the edge of the basket so that we can add ribbon easily to it. You can always secure this firmly with hot glue but the double sticky sided tape does help you make sure the ribbon is in just the right place. This ribbon is going to help you bring in the colors of your wedding into the flower girl basket. Then once you have the basket done you can add flowers or fruit appropriate for your wedding into the basket. If you want to put a bed of tulle in the same color underneath it you definitely can. It will add some height to it. Here we have a smaller basket for a small child that would definitely be more appropriate. You can put a single bloom inside of here or in this case we used our single piece of fruit for our pink and green country wedding. This is how you can make a flower girl basket."
