"How to become a ballroom dancer. Well, the answer to that is a little confusing. First of all, you have to decide what genre of ballroom you would want to study, whether it be tango, waltz, swing, salsa. There's lots of different dance forms of it. Once you decide what sort of ballroom classes you would like to take then finding a good reputable studio that offers those kind of lessons is very important. It's important to note that oftentimes at these studios you will need to be twenty one or older to take the classes, but there are some studios that do offer ballroom lessons to younger children as well. You'll just have to research and find out. Once you start taking your lessons then you'll have to make a decision as to how involved you want to get in this. Do you want to go pro and be on the competition circuit, or do you just want to continue taking classes and doing dances for fun? All of that is up to you as a individual dancer as to where your goals go with that. In my opinion, it is an important thing to study all the different forms of ballroom. It will make you a better social dancer, and your friends may even ask where you learned all those great steps."
