In this clip we'll be giving tips on how to find a modeling agent. So you've got your portfolio ready, you're ready to send it out to an agent, do your homework, look for the best - not necessarily the best of the best but somebody that has a good record, somebody that doesn't - something that when you ask someone that has an agent doesn't say, eh, well. You know you're going to want to look for somebody who has a good reputation, send your cover letter with your portfolio to the agent. You may not get a callback for weeks, think of how busy this person is. And don't be afraid to call them and say you know, my name is so-and-so, I sent my portfolio to you a couple of weeks ago. I just wanted to touch base with you and see if you received it, not even - don't even pressure them, don't even say so what did you think? Just want to know if they received it and then at that point they'll say oh yeah, well I took a look at it, no, I haven't gotten to take a look at it yet. Just kind of let them know that you want to work with them, let them know that you're not just waiting for them, let them know that you don't think you're too good or - just kind of put yourself out there, give a good first impression of yourself. Now when you feel like you've found the right agent, it's important that you feel comfortable - it's important that you feel like they're going to be taking care of you. It's important that you don't have that gut feeling that they're just going to screw you over completely and totally. Just feel comfortable with your agent, think of them as more of a friend, think of them as someone to call on when you need advice, someone who is going to take you on under their wing, someone that's not just going to put you - think of you as a paycheck, someone that's going to just completely and totally just work with you and get you to where you need to be in your modeling career.
