"Hi so this is a little discussion on what is the best thing to eat before a workout. Specifically before a resistance work out what I would recommend to people make sure they have is a little protein and especially a complex carbohydrate. The protein is going to help keep your muscle from breaking down during the workout and the complex carbohydrate is going to metabolize more slowly into your system so that you get that longer burn and sustained energy throughout your workout. One of my favorite things to have before a workout is a couple of pieces of whole wheat bread, make sure they are 100% whole wheat and peanut butter because you have got protein, a healthy fat, again for just deterring that catabolizing the muscle that happens during a resistance workout and also the 100% whole wheat bread which is 100% complex carbohydrate that gives you that slow burn so you don't crash real soon and real quick during your workout. Alright make sure you include complex carbohydrates, a little protein, make sure you stay well hydrated and that's the best stuff to have before a workout."
