Hello my name is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg in Miami, Florida with Miami Dog Training. In this clip we are going to show you how to train a dog to stay inside the fence. Now there is more than one method because we also have invisible fences which go underground and the dog wears a collar which responds when they get too close to that line they get a little shock but this is just a manual way and basically what I am going to do is I am going to open the door and I am going to give him an opportunity to go out, he may or may not. Now this is a perfect example and let's see if he goes out, no, we are going to give him a correction and pull him back in and praise him. Good boy. Now I am going to give him another opportunity to go out the fence, no, come in the fence, sit, good. Good boy. So if every time he goes out that fence he gets a correction and we direct him back in and praise him he understands that that is not what we want him to do. Once again this is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg with Miami Dog Training.
