Symptoms of flu in kids. They will present with increased fever usually at approximately 104 degrees Fahrenheit. They will present with chills, muscle aches, sore throat, dry cough. It can even be nonproductive, a feeling of generally illness and malaise, tiredness, the virus attacks the upper respiratory system. It may appear as other infections so it takes a licensed physician to be able to diagnose this. It usually should be done within two to three days of the onset of the symptoms of flu. It can also appear as other infections which are croup and bronchitis, pneumonia, abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. So it takes within two to three days of the onset especially in children since a lot of the smaller kids have not built up an immune system, it is always best to seek the advice of a licensed physician when a child has the flu.
