How to Tie a Four-in-Hand Knot

"Hello, this is Andrew Reynolds and today I'm going to show you how to make a four in hand knot, a not very simple to do and useful for your neck ties. Basically just have your collar up, your top button buttoned and here goes with the four in hand knot. Now one thing that many of you may not know is that in the less dominant side, you'll be tying with your dominant hand, like I'm right handed, this'll be on my left hand side. You'll notice if you turn it around that there's a little bit of stitching that goes diagonally across that portion and that's the portion you're going to want to crossover with your dominant hand. So for four in hand knot, it's very simple. All's you do is you just cross it over once. Bring it back around so it ends up in the same hand it started with. Keep it nice and flat. Cross it over one more time just kind of building a little bit of a bulk so that when you bring it up here, up through the neck, you'll have that last loop you did, you're going to want to get a finger in there. And trying to keep the tie as flat as you can, push it down through, right there, and this is is a bit of a slimmer knot than a typical Windsor knot and it's very simple and easy to do if you don't want the huge bulk that you would get with a Windsor knot, this is very appropriate. Once you have that and everything is in place, just cinch it up to your neck, pull the collar down and there you have the basic four in hand knot."
