"Hello this is Andrew Reynolds, and today I'm going to show you how to make a fisherman's knot. This is a great way to join basically, two pieces of rope together so that they will not come apart. Basically, give yourself a little bit of room on each side, and then you just would take for instance your top rope, and place it over your bottom rope. Place it under, but you are going to want to go behind the original start of your knot, and place it through. And it's basically a very simply almost a overhand knot, you know in it's essence. Once again, have a little bit of rope handy for your bottom rope, place it over your top rope, go around it, and then go back before where the knot started and then overlap that rope and through. Basically, like I said there are two overhand knots in there, in their essence. But of course, when you would pull them together they would form a fisherman's knot, a very simple way to keep two lines together. And there you have your fisherman's knot, a very simple way to take two ropes and make them join together as one. Thanks for watching."
