"Hello. My name is Sandra Cheryl Richardson. I'm a Wiccan high priestess here at Celestial Treasures, a beautiful store in Coconut Grove, Florida. In this clip, we're going to talk about how to make a witch's robe. Witch's robes can be very simple or very elaborate. For the purposes of this video, I'm going to describe how to make a basic, simple black robe. Obviously, the color of choice is black. For material considerations, wherever you live will determine the quality of the fabric that you get. Colder climates will require a heavier fabric than warm, tropical climates will. First, it is important to measure yourself from wrist to wrist outstretched. Then, you measure from the nape of your neck down to the floor. It is good to draw the pattern out on a piece of paper so that you can get the right measurements. When you buy your material, you'll need to buy enough that will cover in front as well as back so that you can fold the material in half, place it upon your pattern and cut the pattern out. When you cut the material, you can see through this drawing how the little lines are the pattern that you would cut from to make your robe. Once the pattern is cut out with your material, then you take the sides and the arms and you sew them up. Finally, cut out the head and neck area at the top. Once this is finished, you can adorn with embroidery, lace or other types of magical symbols. Finally, tie off your robe with a cord around the waist. And this is Sandra Cheryl Richardson, thank you for watching how to make a witch's robe."
