"Hello, my name is Sandra Cheryl Richardson. I'm a Wiccan High Priestess here at Celestial Treasures. A beautiful store at Coconut Grove, Florida. In this clip we're going to talk about how to make a Wiccan robe. The best way to make a Wiccan robe is to make a lot of decisions about things before hand. Wiccan robes can be very simple or very elaborate. For the purposes of this video, I'm going to describe how to make a very simple type of robe. The first thing you're going to need to do, is to make considerations about your material. Definitely in colder climates you're going to want to a heavier material than in the tropical climates. Measure yourself from arm to arm, wrist to wrist. As well as full length from the nape of your neck down to the floor. and it's also a good idea to put all of this down on paper. Draw it out. And make yourself a pattern. This way you can take your pattern and lay your material upon it. And cut it out easier. In this drawing that I have created. You will see that the material when you buy it. Should be folded in half. To allow material for the front part as well as the back part of your body. You cut out the sides, as indicated. And then you sew up the sides and the arms. And then you cut out the hole for the neck area. Once you finish with this, you can tie it off with a chord or rope around your waist.
