"Common causes of leg cramps can be associated with dehydration, perhaps your low on potassium, sodium. Also another common cause of leg cramps is not have, being properly seated. Sometimes if you sit for too long of a period with your leg dangling, that could cause cramps; also being seated for long periods of time crossing your legs. Another common cause of leg cramps while resting could be associated with intense training with weight. Sometimes we don't properly stretch before training or we don't properly cool down after training and stretching also. That could be a, a culprit of leg cramps while resting. So if you'd like to avoid having leg cramps while resting, try to keep yourself properly hydrated; also make sure when you're working out with weights that you're stretching; you're properly warmed up and avoid anything that's too salty, too fatty that's going to detract from your proper vitamin storage."
