Cholesterol lowering foods that I have found in my experience include whole grains. You want to start your day with a bowl of oatmeal, 100% old-fashioned oats. Great things as far as foods go are low fat dairy products, low fat snacks, these are great things that you're going to want to use in addition to whole grains and your everyday fruits and vegetables. At least 5 servings a day. Properly hydrating yourself is going to ensure that every nutrient from your food is reaching the optimal places. Foods that you always want to look for are high in fiber. These are always going to be whole grains, fruits and vegetables, beans. You also might want to check into your local vitamin stores, natural food products, these places are going to be able to offer you maybe some natural herbal products that can help lower cholesterol as well. Fruits, 5 servings a day, acai berry, pomegranate, blueberries, strawberries, apples, these are all great beneficial fibrous fruits to help lower your cholesterol.
