Hi, my name is Charlotte Skiles. I'm a nutrition consultant and clinical herbalist with Eat in Peace Wellness Consulting located in Austin, Texas, and right now I'm going to talk to you about the benefits of magnetic therapy. Now, magnetic therapy is the idea of putting a certain form of magnet with a very strong, what's called gauss, near the body. And what that does, theoretically, that they've shown, is that it increase circulation. So you can use it as an external, as an external treatment for any sort of, of injury to the tissue. And many people sleep on the magnets. They have beds that have little magnets in them, so every night they're putting their body in to that magnetic spectrum, so to speak. Some people wear bracelets, some people have magnets in their shoe. And the idea is that through increasing circulation, and putting us more in touch with the magnetic forces of the earth, that circulation is increased, and when circulation is increased, energy is increased, and tissue can heal properly. So much of our health is dependent on the movement of blood in the system, and things can get stagnated very quickly, and magnetic therapy can help move that, you know, when you increase circulation, you're feeding the tissue nutrition, and you're also moving waste products, so you get that combination of, of movement in the body, and it can really offer some great health benefits. So, that's a little bit about what I have to say about magnetic therapy.
