Video Transcript

"According to Chinese legend some 5,000 years ago the Emperor Chin Num was walking through the forest. During his walk he became thirsty, stopped for some water, found the water foul and undrinkable. He then ordered it to be boiled. While the water was being boiled the wind blew a tea leaf into the water. After letting it steep for some period of time the Emperor drank it and then tea was born. White tea offers all the same health properties as all of the other teas, green and black tea, however these properties are a little bit more potent as the white tea is made from the young flowers and buds. As you see here it looks very different from most other types of tea. In addition to large amounts of fluoride which is not only good for the teeth and fights off plaque but also is an anti inflammatory and anti viral agent, white tea is also very high in flavonoids which are a class of antioxidant that work very well in the prevention of colon cancer, stomach cancer and other lower gastrointestinal diseases. White tea is also very high in amino acids, this causes a sense of relaxation and mood elevation upon drinking a cup."
