Hi this is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg with Miami Dog Training in Miami, Florida. In this clip we are going to talk about how to become a certified dog trainer. Really you want to look for the school that suits you the best and you know some places offer an apprenticeship which is more along the lines of what I did for my certification and some places offer kind of more of a classroom setting. You know with the certification a lot of times their six week to twelve week courses where you are working dogs six days a week, ten hours day for a minimum of six weeks and you can really learn a lot in that time especially working with someone who is certified who is good at what they do. Once you get that certification you can become members of different organizations. One that I'm a member of is the International Association of Canine Professionals which is the same one that Ceasar Molan is a member of. Once again this is Zephyr Clarke-Dolberg with Miami Dog Training.
