"About Candida asthma symptoms. Candida first of all is a yeast infection. You normally see more of that since the 1950s since antibiotic therapy has been so prominent in the care of infections. There are certain forms of Candida that will cause infections. One of those known as thrush. You will see that. It is seen in immunocompromised patients. Asthma is a chronic lung disease with narrowing of the airways with inflammation causing shortness of breath, wheezing, and it also is a sporadic basis where it's intermittent forms of asthma will come. It's not continuously having symptoms but most of the time a person who is well maintained with follow up from the doctor and medications they have intermittent periods of rest from their asthma if they follow the regime. Asthma also has a lot of coughing with it because of the inflammation of the airways. With Candida it exacerbates the symptoms due to the immune system already being compromised."
